Full Drain Outlet Assembly Pull Video

Assmann offers a video on its website showing the durability of its patented Full Drain Outlet (FDO) assembly. A water-filled 4,100-gallon single wall vertical tank was pulled by the Full Drain Outlet, demonstrating that the assembly stands up to virtually any service condition. The FDO proves its durability and dependability after two successful test pulls of 59’ and 109’, without any signs for damage or leaks. Assmann’s tank also withstood the demonstration, showing no signs of leaks or fatigue after the testing was complete.

Assmann’s Full Drain Outlet (FDO) assembly, for tanks of 2,500 gallons and larger provides the ability to drain the tank without mechanically installed nozzles, and can be utilized where heavy solids or salts may accumulate in the bottom of the tank. The FDO can help eliminate difficult maintenance work and is available with multiple expansion joint options. The outlet is available in 3” and 4” and in material variations of 316 Stainless Steel, Titanium and Hastelloy construction. A modular polyethylene tank stands is also available for use with the FDO assembly.

Assmann linear polyethylene tanks are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and high-density crosslink resin tanks for chemical storage. ISO 9001:2008 Certified.
